Facebook has decided to remove the subscription model from the WhatsApp application from now on. And, those ones who are already on the payment modules, they will also don't have to pay either.
Jan Koum, CEO of WhatsApp, told this at Munich during the DLD Conference. The company would be focusing on ways for people to change information with companies and organisations, which they are interested in.
For example, you could get desired information from a bank, whether the transaction was successful or was legitimate. Another situation would be when you would want to know the arrival or departure of flights or even the trains and whether they are on time or not. Facebook bought WhatsApp earlier for a whopping amount of approximately $19 billion (which amounts to some £13 billion), last year. It is awesome to note that it used to be a company consisting of only 55 employees.
