Microsoft hopes to make the hub the centerpiece of a
collaborating meeting, a conference hall where everything will be connected to
a main module – the Surface Hub.
Microsoft said that
the Hub can be wall mounted and can be operated simultaneously by two or more
people at the same time. The medium could be hand gestures, touch patterns, a
stylus and can even be controlled by your voice, if the Hub is out of reach
from you at required moment.
It will set you back by $7,000 for an entry level Hub with
its 55 inch body and 1080p display. And, it can move up as high as $20,000 with
all the fancy requirements that you can think of, like-a 4K display.
It will start retailing from this July, onwards.
